– – Traverse 18 is a conference and set of experiences, which is being held in Rotterdam at the end of May this year. It’s for all digital influencers, bloggers, YouTubers, Instagramers, and other people, as well as people from the travel industry, and it’s aimed at beginners, intermediate, advanced influencers, as well as sessions based around the business side of being an industry influencer. So Traverse is aimed at influencers of all levels. The talks reflect that. This year, we’re running four different streams, so when we say the streams, meaning how the sessions are labeled. So we have beginner, advanced, industry, and business sessions. The business sessions are a brand new thing this year. I believe we’re the first of any influencer conference to really have a focus on the business side. Although, I think a few others are kind of catchin’ onto it. So these sessions are really focused about the more technical, the more business side of being an influencer. So that can be, what we call, the more slightly boring stuff for me personally, like SEO, analytics, but then also, something about e-commerce, how to launch products, even stuff down to accounting and things like that. The beginner sessions are aimed at really anyone who hasn’t just like just started their channel. So one session we’re running this year is how to launch a food blog, or how to launch food blogging content. It’s meant that relatively new influencers who aren’t based in food blogging, and it’s how to add that. And then, we have the more advanced sessions, which are really technical SEO, paid search, light room editing, we have a couple of sessions on video, which are real in-depth of production, drones and things like that. Rotterdam is a perfect city for visiting. It’s relatively small, and it’s flat so it’s perfect for walking and cycling. There’s fantastic architecture, arts, street art, museums, and some great history, as well as fantastic bars and restaurants, and the most important thing for me is the people, who are just the nicest that you’ll meet.
