Madagascar 2: Escape To Africa is a wonderful movie that you and your child will watch over and over. It is fulled with the same lovable characters, from the original, and will have you laughing out loud.

Madagascar 2: Escape To Africa begins where the first movie ended. The lovable characters are leaving for home, when there ships veers in the wrong direction and they land in Africa. Once in Africa, Alex the lion becomes reunited with his long lost family. However, there is a language barrier between Alex and his family so relations are difficult. The movie follows Alexs journey to reconnect with them.

The main characters are faced with obstacles that test their friendship. However, the characters are shown getting past their problems and becoming closer friends. The morals of this movie leave children with the lesson that friendship is worth fighting for and your family will always be your greatest ally.

This film is entertaining and funny without being overly silly. Adults will find themselves interested in the storyline and laughing hysterical at all the animated dancing scenes. After watching the DVD, don’t be surprised if you are walking around for days signing “Move it”.

This DVD is filled with funny moments, fueled by its all star cast including Ben Stiller as Alex, Chris Rock as Marty the lovable zebra, and David Schwimmer as the paranoid giraffe Melman. Rumored to have taken root in overcrowded prisons, the disease has flourished amid Madagascar’s increasing poverty and poor waste management. Antibiotics to treat the disease have been developed and are available in most countries, but Madagascar’s rudimentary healthcare system has left a number of people stranded without care.
