The Brad Pitt Workout Routine

Brad Pitt has long been the envy of millions of men across the globe. Since movies like Fight Club, Troy and Snatch, the shredded Brad Pitt physique is high in demand.

When he was training to get into shape for fight club, he took upon himself an intensive training regime. He trained each muscle group once per week to build muscle and then performed hard cardiovascluar exercise at weekends to burn body fat and get ripped.

Here’s the weekly routine he used-

Monday – Pectorals

3 sets of 75 push ups
3 sets of bench press – 165lb (25 reps), 195lb (15 reps), 225lb (8 reps)
3 sets of nautilus press – 80lb (25 reps), 100lb (15 reps), 140lb (8 reps)
3 sets of incline press – 80lb (25 reps), 100lb (15 reps), 140lb (8 reps)
3 sets on peck deck machine – 60lb (25 reps), 70lb (15 reps), 80lb (8 reps)

Tuesday – Back

3 sets of 25 pull ups (palms facing away grip)
3 sets of seated rows – 75lb (25 reps), 80lb (15 reps), 85lb (8 reps)
3 sets of lat pull downs – 135lb (25 reps), 150lb (15 reps), 165lb (8 reps)
3 sets of T-bar rows – 80lb (25 reps), 95lb (15 reps), 110lb (8 reps)

Wednesday – Shoulders

3 sets of Arnold press – 55lb (25 reps), 55lb (15 reps), 55lb (8 reps)
3 sets of lateral raises – 30lb (25 reps), 30lb (15 reps), 30lb (8 reps)
3 sets of front raises – 25lb (25 reps), 25lb (15 reps), 25lb (8 reps)

Thursday – Biceps and Triceps

3 sets on preacher curl machine – 60lb (25 reps), 80lb (15 reps), 95lb (8 reps)
3 sets on EZ curl cable machine – 50lb (25 reps), 65lb (15 reps), 80lb (8 reps)
3 sets of hammer curls – 30lb (25 reps), 45lb (15 reps), 55lb (8 reps)
3 sets of push downs – 70lb (25 reps), 85lb (15 reps), 100lb (8 reps)

Friday – 1 hour on the treadmill at 85% MHR

Saturday – 1 hour on the treadmill at 85% MHR

Sunday – Rest

If you were to follow this workout regime with the correct diet, you would be sure to build muscle and lose pounds of body fat by the week.

A high protein diet with moderate carbs and fats would be advised. Get plenty of chicken breasts, tuna, pasta, rice and oily fats like sunflower oil in there and you’ll be ripped like Brad Pitt in no time!
