There are so many benefits to blogging if you’re a law student or lawyer. It shows your expertise and your personality. I probably get half of my new clients for Carter Law Firm because of my blog (http://carterlawaz.com/blog).
If you’re a law student, having a blog is a great way to set yourself apart from the pack. I had awesome interviews with prospective employers because they liked something I wrote on my personal blog (http://undeniableruth.com), even if it had nothing to do with the law.
If you’re a law student and you want to hear more about my story, tell your school to invite me out to speak as part of my Undeniable Law School Tour: http://carterlawaz.com/tour/.
I also wrote a book called The Legal Side of Blogging for Lawyers, available on Amazon: http://amzn.to/RUrozE.
If you want to chat, you can see all the ways to contact and connect with me, Ruth Carter, on the Carter Law Firm website: http://carterlawaz.com/contact/.
