Mary J. Blige ?provoked a war? with Kendu Isaacs
Mary J. Blige punched husband Kendu Isaacs in the face at a record release party for her “Stronger with Each Tear” album Tuesday night, December 22 in New York. That night was supposed to be a wonderful celebration for this American R&B/hip-hop artist except such incident.
Blige is also a record producer and an actress. She has won several Grammys and has received the World Music Legends Award for hip hop and soul. Blige began a relationship with Martin Kendu Isaacs, a record industry executive in 2000 and had sold over 48 million records worldwide as of 2008.
According to New York Post, the angry artist turned to her husband and screamed. Before being separated from Isaacs, she pushed, pulled back, and punched him in his face. She yelled at her husband at a nearby club Pink. According to an unidentified witness, Mary’ punch drew blood before her bodyguards and two club members had to separate them from each other. As a result, her husband was kicked out of the club and she left the party almost definitely. The guests including Beyonce Knowles, Jay-Z, and Busta Rhymes at the party received an uncomfortable scene.
The cause of the quarrel is still not found. It is rumored that Kendu Isaacs flirted with a waitress which made Mary J. Blige angry. Others claimed that her husband took her brother out from the VIP section.
Amidst the preliminary information on Mary J. Blige’s scandal, Karynne Tencer spokesperson said to New York Daily News that the singer and her husband do not make up a drama, testifying the real cause of that night’s scandal is that Mary’s husband and her brother had a quarrel which turned into a clash. Therefore, Mary got involved in the alternation to break up the fight.
Karynne confirmed that Mary and Kendu went home together happily.
