British soccer legend David Beckham has recently been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by BBC at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards ceremony in Birmingham, England on Sunday, December 19, 2010. David Beckham gets the award for his contribution in the 2012 Olympics in London and his numerous achievements in the soccer field. The winner of six Premier League titles and the Champions League with Manchester United also took the title of BBC Sports Personality of the Year 9 years ago, in 2001. His wife, the former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham and Beckham’s mother Sandra takes three sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8 and Cruz, 4 to the event.
