The Mediterranean Diet never really hit “best seller” status like some of the other weight loss programs. Even though, it is still pretty popular. The basis of the diet is from one that is popular in countries like Greece, or Western Europe. People from these areas have similar diets and appear to be thinner and healthier than most in the western world, so this diet assumes they have the right combination. Many people like this diet because they are allowed to keep eating their favorite foods.
