Beautiful pictures by storm chaser Mike Hollingshead

Mike Hollingshead, a professional storm chaser and photographer, travels tens of thousands of miles every year to take the most exquisite photographs of extreme weather. He worked in a corn milling plant and first started chasing storms in 1999. However, he quit his job the following five years. He lives by selling footage and photographs of storms. In 2008, this storm chaser released his first book named Adventures in Tornado Alley: The Storm Chasers with co-author Eric Nguyen.

After hearing storm warnings, he races after storms, hopefully capturing their shots. In total, he follows around 40 storms each year. The following are some spectacular images of tornadoes, lightning, and supercells taken by storm chaser Mike Hollinshead.
