2010 NFL Season Premier Who Dat


The 2010 NFL football season kicks off on the NFL Network Thursday September 9, 2010.  A parade in New Orleans and performances by Dave Matthews Band and Taylor Swift will celebrate the start of the 2010 season. The celebration continues in the Superdome leading up to Kickoff between the Saints and Vikings.

Drew Brees and The 2009 Superbowl Champion New Orleans Saints will open the 2010 NFL Season in the Louisianna Superdome against the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday September 9, 2010. The Game will be aired on NBC for all to see at 8:30 pm .

The events of the NFL this week are assisting in the excitement that will definitely fill the Superdome. Derrell Revis has resigned with the Jets as Coach Rex Ryan has made Revis’ signing a big topic on the HBO show “Hard Knocks Training Camp with the New York Jets .

In New England the Patriots have reportedly extended Tom Brady’s contract and Randy Moss is again unhappy. In Pittsburgh nobody cares whether or not Rothlessberger comes back (for Now) . Anthony Gonzales got punked out of a starting job by Pierre Garcon in Indy .In San Francisco 49ers Crabtree And Vernon Davis are doing what football players do they are being competitive: Davis is arguing Crabtree is not putting forth 100% which was the consensus last year when he missed 8 games then started.

The Jaguars, Lions, Chiefs, Raiders, Rams, Cardinals, Bengals, and Chargers as teams that could struggle to sell out their venues — and will more than likely have a local blackout of their home games.

In carry over form last season Indianapolis and Payton Manning continue to complain about the refs pointing the fingers at anyone besides themselves for their loss in the Superbowl to the Saints.

And then there was Minnesota. …Coach Childress who waited all preseason 5 weeks to find out Favre would play again is still fuming over the Abuse Brett Favre took last year at the hands of the Saints and does not want to lose him again. However with a fired-up Saints team reeling from a Dan Hampton’s Katrina comment. Reggie Bush being stripped of his Heisman Trophy Title. The Saints defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams being silenced by Sean Peyton in loom of an all out war on Brett Favre and the antics and spotlight he steals from every NFL team and player who does put in the work during the preseason.

Fantasy Teams Are picked. Odds are coming out and bookies are hard at work. Office pools of favorite color and favorite mascot are being picked across America . An NFL pregame show airs on the NFL Network and the Saints Vikings Game on NBC. Thursday Night . Football is back Are you ready?
